AligarhMedia.com Desk, Qatar/ALIGARH: The AMU Alumni Association Qatar (AMUAAQ)alumni of Aligarh Muslim University in Qatar set to organise a free medical camp in association with IMARA Medical Centre Qatar at Imara Medical Centre, opposite Grand Mall, in Asian Town on Friday/19th April 2019 to be held from 7:30 am to 13:00 pm, the free medical camp will offer general consultation and consultations in General Physician, Family Medicine, gynaecology, paediatric, cardiology, Radiology, oral hygiene, dental check-up, dietetic, blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI, cupping therapy (Hijama) and physiotherapy by the team of dedicated doctors and medical field professiniols.The camp will also create awareness about organ donation among the participants. The camp is expected to benefit nearly 500 people including families and workers from various locations and companies in Doha, Al Wakra, Alkhor and Industrial Area. Medical Team Help Desk and volunteers from community organisations will also be at the camp to address the concerns and queries of expatriates.
According to AMUAAQ President Jawed Ahmad, Qatar’s elite state medical institutions like Sidra Medicine, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and prominent private hospitals will offer their services at the medical camp including with AMU Alumni Doctors from mentioned organisations.
Indian Ambassador to Qatar HE P Kumuran will inaugurate the Free Medical Camp. Mr. SRH Fahmi – First Secretory Indian Embassy, Mr. MS Bukhari(Chief Patron-AMUAAQ), Mr. Abdul Hakkim-CEO Imara Medical Centre, local media representatives, AMUAAQ-Council members & MC/Advisory team, Indian Embassy Apex body Presidents and a number of prominent Indians residing in Qatar are also expected to visit the camp.Ahmad said that a large number of expatriates living in the vicinity can benefit from the free medical camp.Mr. Ahmad said that on spot registrations will be followed for those visiting the camp on the day.
