Alumni Association Qatar an (AO) of ICBF
under aegis of Indian Embassy Qatar and
Toastmasters International, organized the multi-specialized free medical
camp as a part of India@75(Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) in association with Reyada Medical Centre Centre on (Friday)
12th August 2022.
The event was targeted mainly to help expatriate labour
work force and apart of doctors' consultation, blood tests, ECG and eye check
was all done free of cost. Approximately200 patients wasbenefited by the health
camp which continued from early morning till late in the afternoon.Many
patients who turned up for the checkup were very satisfied with service they
received on the day and thanked the organisers.
The expatriates workers, family
andkids were offered free general consultation and other consultations in General Physician, Blood
Test, ECG, Family Medicine, gynaecology, paediatric, ophthalmology, dental check-up, blood
pressure, blood sugar, BMI by the team of dedicated doctors and medical field professiniols.This
free medical camp benefitted
nearly 200 expatriate.There were also awareness
briefing by experts on various topics.
Ambassador of India in Qatar, His Excellency Dr Deepak
Mittal inaugurated the camp and commended AMU Alumni Association Qatar and
Reyada for for their service to the society. He said the entire nation and
wider expatriate Indian community is celebrating the important milestone of
75th anniversary of India's Independence in the form of "Azadi Ka Amrit
Mahotsav" and wished happy Independence Day to all.
Dr Nadeem Jilani, President of AMU Alumni Association
Qatar thanked His Excellency for his inspiring presence and outlined various
social activities conducted by his team this year including a mega blood
donation drive on world blood donors day. He also thankMr Hamza and entire
Reyada team along with volunteers and executive member of AMUAAQ team.
Later an AMU-Reyada Med Card was also unveiled in
presence of Dr Nadeem Jilani, MrJamsheer Hamza, Mr Jawed Ahmad (Chairman AMU
Alumni Association Qatar), Dr Syed IntekhabAlam and Dr Sikndar. This card will
entitle up to 25% discount on a range of services at Reyada
Jawed Ahmad,Chairman – AMUAAQ, Applauded the service to humanity by
Doctors and supported organisation. Mr. Ahmad Thanked Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma
(Board Member) for coordinating the event with Mr. Altaf, Reyada Medical
centre. He mentioned that Multi specialized Free medical camp is rightly
organized on the occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. He wished for Azadi Ka
Amrit Mahotsav and congratulated the organizing team for successful execution
of Free Medical camp.

honoured to have HE Dr Deepak Mittal inaugurate this free medical camp. Initiatives
like these are in line with Reyada Medical Centre’s vision and mission to
provide accessible, affordable and quality health care.”Dr Abdul Kalam,

Association for taking this initiative and Reyada Medical Centre will be
extremely keen to organise and participate in health camps that would help
inspire better health in the community.”

Sharma, Syed Shahabuddin, Mrs. Mahjabeen.Mr. Jilani also thanked Miss Almas,
Miss Fatima, Miss Alhena, Miss Sparshika Sharmafor handling the registration
process.
It was also announced that AMUAAQ and Reyada will team
again to launch free blood group check drive to come up with a database of
potential blood donors as a contingency plan for FIFA World Cup.
At the end as a token of appreciation each Volunteersand
organization was presented with the certificate from AMUAAQ while Refreshments
were provided by the Reyada Medical Centre.
